Hardyville Days 2009

Time for Food, Fun and Floozies!

Hardyville Days 2009, Celebrating the Heritage of the Colorado River, is set to begin with a Hardyville Days Dinner entitled "Floozy Follies Extravaganza" on Thursday October 22nd.  The special dinner is sponsored and put together by the Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis, and will be held at 6pm at the Chamber of Commerce building.  You don't want to miss this special event.  Tickets for the dinner are only $15 per person, or $25 per couple.   We encourage you to vote for your favorite Floozy 'Mandidate' in the club's Hardyville Beauty Contest.

Come together and join us in our 13th annual celebration while we put aside our burdens for a fun and free weekend.  There is no admission charge to enjoy Hardyville Days and it is open to everyone.  This years event days will be:

Friday October 23rd from Noon until 6pm
Saturday October 24th from 9am until 6pm
Sunday October 25th from 9am until 3pm

The 2009 Hardyville Days Celebration will feature something for everyone with events, attractions, contests, competitions, displays, games, food and more!  We'll have carnival games for the kids and young-at-heart along with cake decorating, a princess pageant, specialty vendors and many activities.

The lower level of the Chamber of Commerce building will hold an arts and crafts faire featuring items made by artisans mainly from the Tri-State area. The main hall will be filled with ceramics, quilts, pottery, paintings and sculptures.  There is even 'instant art' which is applied by a talented face painter.

The park's ramada holds a wide variety of food and beverages sure to please everyone's tastes while providing shade and seating. The main stage is at the edge of the ramada where everyone can enjoy the shows, live music, dance programs and contests while staying cool.

Vendors will line the grassy areas of the park, along with special attractions and a swap meet.

If you have any questions or would like to participate in Bullhead City's largest community celebration, please contact Bullhead City Recreation Supervisor Ed Catafamo at (928)763-0158.
